Town and Country Life at Gillionville

I love the idea of going back to my home town of Albany, Georgia, where quail hunting is still a big sport, and the people are as warm as the Georgia sunshine. One of the plantations there, called Gillionville, is a private hunt club, and recently my post about this establishment was featured on the national Hickory Chair blog! Here, from images borrowed from the Gillionville site, you can get an idea of what the real Town and Country lifestyle is all about. Also check out the magazine called Garden and Gun. It's a real insight into just how elegant and interesting the sport of the hunt and the shoot can be. Enjoy! Have a great weekend. DF *****
