I've always loved and admired the work of the late artist Cy Twombly. I first encountered his work in an iconic book, Vogue's work on houses, gardens and people...I don't have the exact title, but its along those lines...Mr Twombly married into an aristocratic Italian family and lived and worked in Rome... how romantic!
