This modest home would go for about 1.6 millionI do a get a kick out of living here in Naples, also known as Collier County, as in the real housewives of Orange County... and there are hundreds of gated homes and communities in this area called southwest Florida. Just in Naples alone, there are over forty gated communities where the single family homes are over a million dollars, usually several million. Some of my clients even live in double gated communities ! There is one on the beach where the lots sold back in the early nineties for $20,000.00 per square foot. Another one I've worked in has 68 homes all in the three million and up range... most are around six million, and look like new versions of Newport "cottages"... it's called Bay Colony Golf Estates.
