Casa Apava in Palm Beach sells for $71M; total sale is $116M


 With its Mediterranean-style architecture, Casa Apava was designed by architect Abram Garfield, son of President James Garfield. His clients were Chester Bolton, a congressman from Cleveland, and his wife, Frances Payne Bingham Bolton, who served in Congress for almost three decades after her husband died.

    The perfect word ! Wow! BTW, Ron Perelman was a former owner of Casa Apava, and yours truly once worked with his former Mother-In-Law, Mrs. Cohen, on her east side townhouse apartment in Manhattan, when I was in the employ of star designer Robert Metzger. Ancient history now!
