It's May! One of my favorite months of the year. More of the glitterati I spent time with in Manhattan back in the 80s including smart gentlemen such as Madison Cox the very talented and amiable garden designer - who married Pierre Berge' - it was through my association with the Parish Hadley decorator, Tice Alexander, that I came to know Madison and his chic set...
Years later, after Tice had died from AIDS, I worked under the late H. Parkin Saunders, on the Fifth Avenue duplex penthouse of Ted Forstmann, where we employed Madison to create stunning Versailles boxes with topiary all along the wrap around terrace- ! So chic! (And so not inexpensive) -but worth every penny! DF
