Tonight, William is treating me to a dinner at one of our favorite Miami hot spots, Magnum. Jeffrey, the owner, always takes such good care of us there, and Kurt the chef is a miracle worker. Our friend Terry Hammond plays the piano and sings wonderful old songs; while we bask in the decadent Paris in the thirties atmosphere. Terry is a very interesting fellow, he once brought Kitty Carlisle (Mrs. Moss Hart) to the club he played in Ft Lauderdale, which was called Chardee's...we always had a ton of fun there. I look forward to our time together. DF *****
